Jaycees Santa Parade

The 2009 Grand Rapids Jaycees Santa Parade will be themed “A Storybook Christmas.” The parade, which serves as the traditional kickoff to the holiday season, will move through downtown Grand Rapids on Nov. 21 beginning 9 a.m. The parade will begin at the corner of Michigan and Monroe. Parking will be free in downtown city lots until Noon.

100 Years of Broadway

Neil Berg’s 100 Years of Broadway recreates the finest theatrical moments from the best musicals of the century. Fans of Phantom of the Opera, Cabaret, Chicago, West Side Story and Mamma Mia! will love this tuneful tribute to the Broadway. The show features five dazzling vocalists at Miller Auditorium on November 21.

Thanksgiving Spirit

The Grand Rapids Symphony preforms this Thanksgiving concert as part of the Richard and Helen DeVos classical series with conductor David Lockington and cellist Daniel Muller-Schott at DeVos Performance Hall on November 20 & 21. This concert will include: MOZART, Symphony No. 31 (Paris), MAHLER, “Adagio” from symphony No. 10, and DVORAK, Cello Concerto.
